I woke up screaming my brains out from the sudden impact as the dragon's solid and utterly painful head butted into my stomach, knocking the life out of me! For sure, I scared the motherly life out of my mom, making a quick right turn since we were a second away from almost hitting another car. She finally stomped her foot on the brakes, and turned to me with a panicking (and yet most hilarious horrific) expression on her face. Still holding my stomach, I got my breathing rate back and turned to her.
"Miranda, are you alright!?!"
"Yeah...I'm fine." I lied, still feeling the horrible pain in my stomach, as if Jackie-Legs kicked me in the stomach with all his might! My mother began to have one of those I'm-the-mother-I-can-say-whatever-comes-into-my-mind moments, cursing even though she's christian. Surprisingly, she sometimes let's me curse, but I tend to not have a potty-mouth like my mother...even if we're kind of like identilce twins. It began to remind of what the bible said, something about not cursing, or saying that if you're christian, why still do the sins everyone else does? Surely my mom is sinning totally crazy right now, but that doesn't mean that she's the bad guy (or the bad lady) around here. I mean, we all make mistakes. I'm sure that maybe, MAYBE (this is just a coincidence) Jesus has sinned one or maybe two times when he was either a child or an adult, but that's just my theory. Everyone sins; I sin, you sin, we all sin. It's part of life, you say you'll never sin, but it's your hypothesis , you don't know when it'll come and hit you just like that.
Okay, back to the whole Dream Attack Situation. So I explained to my mother about the dream attack (not explaining about the dragon thing) but just improvised. Instead of strangling me like how some other mother's do to either their son or daughter when they almost killed them both (but it was really the mother's fault since she's the one that has her hands on the wheel), she smiled, kissed me on the forehead, and said "Next time drink more water, less soda before bedtime."
Technically what she was trying to say was "More water, less soda before drifting off to sleep in the car", but she's 35 years old and short, mother's sometimes don't know what they're saying. And they say that us children or teens don't have a colorful vocabulary. Well, some...

                                                              . . . . . . .

We stopped at Valero for gas, and some snacks for the road, since we were only an hour away from our destination. I stayed in the car, explaining very composing about my Dream Attack to Alan. Trust me, you do not know how it feels getting yelled at by a 25 year old (yeah, 25 years old in dragon years, but 15 or 16 in human years) dragon, who specifically has a "thing" for I guess protecting friends and family (if he did have a family around this world). I slapped my forehead, and layed back on the seat, as I stared at the tall grass on the side of the gas station, as you can say "Alan's hiding place".
"Here's what I heard, Blahblahblah-nagnagnag! It's like you're my second mother!"
"And proud of it." He snorted. "But how is it possible that a dragon like that can do something to you in your dreams?" Still a little confused about the whole story I've just explained to him. I hesitated, and bit my lip just trying to think about it. "To tell you the truth...I really don't know. I'm just wondering if you even know this dragon. Do you?"
Dead silence.
"No, not really. You must be hallucinating or something."
"No I am not hallucinating, this was kind of the same dream I had yesterday last night. And can I please go to you and let's talk face to face, because this whole Dragon-Byte talk is making me feel like Vannessa talking to the dead!" He laughed, then agreed.
As I got out of the car, I ran towards the back of the gas station and called for Alan to come out of hiding. He peeped his head a few inches out of the grass, looking both ways for no stalkers watching us as we speak. Stupid of him to even look, since there wasn't any other roads behind him or anything. I grabbed his cheeks and turned him to face me. "Now we can talk, but we have to hurry."
"Okay, so what were you saying about yesterday's dream?"
"I dreamt that I was in pain, transforming into some kind of monster while you were just standing there speaking in some other tongue in the dark. I don't know what's going on, but I think it has something to do with my eyes. And why would a female dragon want with my soul anyway? That's preposterous!"
He moved his eyes to the sides, then back to me, and made an unusual straight smile. "Yeah...heheh, it is kind of. But I still think you're just hallucinating."
"Fine, then don't believe me. But I am gonna do something about it if it keeps on going over my vacation. Now, I'm gonna goooo and walk to that car and you wait till..."
"Yeah yeah, I get it. But one more thing....I can use a hug right now." I cocked my head to the sight, confused of why a dragon would want a hug. "Hey, sometimes a dragon can get very lonely, we often don't get hugs from strangers."
"Yeah, but I'm a friend of yours." As I hugged him, he suddenly picked me up and gave me the biggest bear hug (well Dragon-Hug) I've ever gotten! He felt so warm (well duh, dragons have a belly or an organ full of fire so they gotta be warm or hot), kind of rough from his scales, but just perfect for a dragon. I felt like a doll to him, as he began to break my spine from his strength. I tried gasping for breathe, asking nicely if he would let me go.
"Alan...my spine!"
"Oh, sorry!" He finally let go of me, placing me down gently on the ground as I tried to crack my back into place. It sounded like I actually broken my spine, but at least my back felt good (now I know what an old person feels when they try to crack their backs).
"Heh, that was some hug!" I said, looking at him as I tilted my head up to get a good look at his face. He smiled. "You better go before your mother kills you."
"Will do!" As I ran towards the car, I noticed two men looking straight at me. It felt disturbing and confusing for two grown men, wearing all black and sunglasses...staring at me. But the weirdest part was...they didn't have any vehicle, nothing. Butterflies began to flutter in my stomach, having this weird feeling that these men were some kind of spies or something. Come on, spies? Seriously, just think for a second, now why would men in black with no vehicle be spying on me? Okay don't answer nor ask that question, I already know what you're going to think "It's obvious that the men in black are spying on you, because you were talking to your dragon friend".
I stared back at them, still confused but mostly freaked about it. I wanted to run for my mom to call the cops that two men are watching me, but it would've sounded so stupid to her and to the cops, so I just shutted my mouth. Instead, I smiled and waved at them...nothing. They just kept staring at me all pissy and boring.
RADA!!!! Well I have to write this ALL overs again, since I pressed the wrong button and took me back to my gallery so it erased the page I was writing for MGS! So that sucks like iCarly not dying on that "iSaved ur life" movie. :icondragonweep: I'm not used to remembering wat I just wrote! Well, at least i'll try to find the words I was looking for.
Well, here's the new page...again. Hope you like it!
