"Now that we're up high, maybe I can be able to see my mom's car from here." I said, beginning to search for my mom's car, gloomy blue van car I think.
"What is a car?" Alan asked, turning to me confused as we flew. "Oh, well it's a mechanical vehicle that we humans use to transport from here to there. Think of it as...flying, but only we fly on ground." It's as if though dragons never learn from about us humans, all they know is that we eat, sleep, survive, and just go on with our lives. I wonder if his home world has any dragon schools like how Dragon Tales have in the show.
"Ha! You humans are so interesting when it comes to weird things like this!"
"Look, there's a car right down there. Can you see it?" I said, as I pointed downward so Alan can see what I was looking at. Though the car seemed familiar, I just couldn't see very well without my glasses, because my eye-sight is so blury from my farther image. "That car is blue, according to my senses, there's a short woman who is flying that thing, while she's pressing onto this weird shiny little box, and looking straight ahead at the black stream."
"The shiny little box is a cell-phone, and the black stream is the road...oh my God, my Mom! We have to hurry back home before my mom, or she'll kill me!" I couldn't believe that my mom was actually almost home before us, and I cannot believe that she is texting as she is driving, when I specifically told her not to!
"Roger that!" Alan announced, suddenly he steered his body to the left side and pushed himself to go even faster...which really worked! The wind blew at my face like a sudden impact, and I began to hold on tight to Alan's front horns as he flew at such a speed.
I had to search quick for my house so we can fly down and hide Alan while my mom comes in, but it was too hard to look for my house if we were flying so fast. Maybe we already past my mom, I just hope that a red light stops her.
"Alan, try to slow down a little so I can find my house." He began to slow down as I commanded, finally I began to search for the house. I looked to the left, then to the right, and it also felt that Alan was moving left to right as well.
"Why are you moving left to right?" I asked, confused and stopping to look down at him.
"You're steering me with my horns as you move your body left to right, it's a thing we dragons have if we have a dragon rider, you'll get used to it."
"Well, next time warn me...I found the house! Turn to the left and go to that last house on the side where the woods are."
"Roger that!" Suddenly, we began to head straight towards the house, until I saw my mom's car driving under us at the same time! We had to hurry before she parks and goes inside the house, but I couldn't go to the frontdoor, so I might as well use the backdoor.
"Alan hurry, my mom's gonna beat us!"
"Hold your horses, I only have two wings!" He shouted, as his wings began to flap even faster.
"Go towards the back of the house so I can be able to go inside from the backdoor." He finally flew down to the backyard, as he landed on the ground I jumped off of his back and ran as fast as I could towards the backdoor.
"I'll be right back Alan, just don't make any sudden noises or my mom will come back here and see you. Oh and one more thing, hide in the trees, my dog will sense you and he'll try to blow it off, so hide now!"
Suddenly, I heard the slam of the car door closing, as my mom came closer to the front door. "Hurry, go!" I shouted in a whisper, trying not to let my mom hear that I'm in the backyard. Alan finally heard my command and headed straight to the trees, as I fled inside the house and fixing myself from the flight. Wow, how my hair was really messed up from the wind, it looked as if I had a cow lick! I began to fix up my hair quickly with my hands, until I heard a click of the keys unlocking the front door. I had to act quick, so I jumped onto the sofa, grabbed the remote and suddenly turned on the tv to channel 23 as SpongeBob SquarePants showed on the screen.
"Okay Laura, just tell them to book the meeting next Wednesday, because I'm going to Corpus Christi with Miranda. Yes...okay I'll talk to you later, bye." My mom said as she was talking to her friend Laura on the phone. She locked the door, placed her purse on the closet door knob, and turned to me smiling.
"Hi, sweetie." My mom announced as she came towards me and kissed my forehead. I smiled, and hugged her as if none of the whole "Dragon Trouble" has never happened. Suddenly, she smelled my hair and gave me a weird look. I couldn't help but stare at her with such confusion and couldn't stop myself from asking her a question.
"What? I just took a shower this morning."
"You smell...odd. Not like in a bad way I mean, it's just that you smell like...flowers."
I cocked my head to the side, and tugged onto my hair and placed it right by my nose to smell it. Most likely my mom was right, but it smelled really different than any flower I smelled.
"Your hair smells like a perfect flower that I bet no one has ever smelled before! What brand of shampoo and conditioner did I buy for you?" She asked me, still amazed about the smell of my hair.
"The same brand, Aussie the one with the purple kangeroo." I began to chuckle at the thought of a purple kangeroo.
"Hmm, that's strange, because that doesn't smell like Aussie at all. I'll check on that later, right now I have to pack. Did you pack like I told you too?" She asked, as she went to the closet and got out some suit cases.

Retreat
Hiccup's eyes widened.
"No, Toothless, not tonight, I'm tired."
She smiled at him and put her hand on his chest, poking it with a claw.
"Well, then, let me do all the work."
Hiccup blushed, but still pushed the humanoid away from him.
"Toothless, please."
He looked over at her, her emerald eyes glowing in the small amount of moonlight shining on her face. He swallowed and tried to find the right words.
"I'm tired, this whole ordeal
it was exhausting."
He put his head down.
"Can I please rest? For a little bit, at least?"
She nodded to him, and he smiled. He kissed her scaly cheek and put his head on the pillow again.

Realization
Hiccup's eyes widened and he backed away. Toothless' ears drooped and her eyes looked hurt.
"What's wrong?"
Hiccup just stared at her before composing himself.
"Toothless, I'm a human, you're a dragon, human form or not."
"So? You love me, I love you, it's the next logical step."
"But this fast?"
"No, if you need some time, to think about this, I
I can wait."
Hiccup gave her a look. He knew it tore her apart to wait, for anything. She wasn't the patient, waiting type, dragon or human.
"It's just
I'm still kinda
"
"Shocked? Surprised? Nervous?"
He blinked at her. She knew him too well.
"Yeah, it's
all of those."

Relaxation
The wind barely blew through the small town of Berk, the perfect day for flying.
"Toothless!"
He grinned as the small Night Fury landed next to him.
"Ready to fly, buddy?"
The dragon nodded and lowered his body so Hiccup could climb up, since it was hard to with a fake metal limb.
"Let's fly."
The dragon nodded, tensed his legs, and leaped into the air with a flap of his wings. Hiccup held on loosely, confident that his legs could hold him on for the most part. The wind whipped his hair around as Toothless dived and spiraled through the air.
"Wish you could speak, Toothless. I just need someone to talk with."
