Lolz, sorry it took so long for me to update a pic, i was tryin to figure out how to do the sky, since i saw the movie trailer.
It kinda took me an hour to do the sky, plus it was kinda hard to make the clouds like that, but i got it.
This is one of the characters from the movie 9.
She is i think in the group with 9 and the other puppets.
Jennifer Connely i think, she plays the voice of this doll gal!
I couldn't believe it either!
Hope you like it! Oh, and if ur dyin to hear the soundtrack from the movie, check it out on youtube, it's called Welcome Home, by Coheed and Cambria!

I'm not a big fan of lens flare in photoshop, but it's not too glaring in this particular pic, so it doesn't annoy me too much. I think a good way to make it a little less obtrusive would be to put the lens flare on a separate layer and lower the opacity.

However, I do like the angle, especially how we're looking up at her from below. This really enhances the feeling that we should think she's heroic, but not intimidating, because she's smiling at us.
I also like your use of texture here. I don't really know about the cloud filter on the background, it's a little overly-busy, (instead, you could take a large brush on a low opacity, and make swirly patterns in the sky. Try different brushes!) but I like that you applied a canvas texture to make her look like she really is made of fabric, and the smudged effect on the wood to really make it look like wood.

It's good that we can tell who it is, despite the fact that her design isn't exact. If you do want the looks to match exactly, I suggest looking up reference pictures as you work. A lot of people think referencing is a bad thing, but it can really help you improve your work. Finding references is as simple as typing the name of the character you want into google, and pulling the picture you want up in a window beside your drawing. This also helps to check for proportional accuracy, especially on oddly-proportioned characters such as these. For example, her hand is a bit too small for her body, especially since characters in this movie tend to have awkwardly-large hands.

Overall, I like this, but it does have a lot of potential to be better.
I hope this helps.
